Ino we have all read Harry Potter but thats what Im reading right now and we are running out of time to get good posts down. I am currently reading Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire. It is written by J. K. Rowling and has 734 pages.
Believe it or not, I haven't read ANY Harry Potter books. Is it worth it to start? Along with that, Twilight seems to be overpowering Harry Potter now. Should I stick with single novels or try a series?
I think series are a lot more satisfactory than single novels sometimes because if you get into the series it lasts a lot longer and is really fun to read. Also if you dont like the first book you dont have to finish the rest of the series. On another subject Twilight is overpowering Harry Potter right now because it is just coming out. Harry Potter 6 was supposed to come out this month but the people that made it postponed the premere until next summer because usually not many good movies come out in the summer and they want to make more money. If Harry Potter 6 were to come out this month it would have completely disentigrated Twilight.
You said to stop reading the series if i dislike the book, but it'll haunt me to figure out what happens through the rest of the series. So I think I'll just stick with single novels. ;)
There is a huge contrast between the movies and the books. The movie for Harry Potter 5 was almost dissapointing because it left out so much stuff that was in the book but thats all that can be expected when a book is over 800 pages long.
I live in Rose Hill and have taught at Coleman for three years. I have taught for a total of 16 years and am currently working on my second master's degree. My life at Coleman involves hanging out mainly with the gifted students and coaching the National Academic League team.
